Jeremy - nice catch. I forgot about the top of my cabinets. I would have to come up with something clever to disguise it though.

Not sure where the thread was, but I saw someone use a nice wicker basket to hide a top off tank that was above his setup. you could do the same, with the ends open to allow for ventilation. Heck, if you put it lengthwise up top, you'll hardly even notice the ends are open.
You could even build a wood box for it instead, either matching your cabinetry, or using a different color and style to make it stand out. I'm more into an italian country style kitchen as opposed to modern, so if it were me, I'd build a box, make it look aged, styled after and old milk crate used back in the day, or something similar. Just use your imagination. Fake plants can also work wonders, and not detract from the styling of your kitchen.

Davey - that's a great price on the bluespot jaw. I paid $130 for mine.

Dont they hide alot? I saw one at Karls a few weeks ago. He was hiding in a rock but then would lift his head up and look around it was cool to watch!

Working on a Flame wrasse pair right now maybe in a few weeks if he is still there i will nab him.

Is the OST juvi or adult?

Great pick up IMO. Unicorns are great tangs too!

I really can't wait to see the Bariene. I was SOOOO close to buying instead of the Dussumier.....

I really like the Blue eyed tang, I didnt think others did.

I have never seen the spotted Unicorn. Just seen the regular one like AL has in there 900 gallon. I like that fish as well

It wasn't under the Juvi link, but it's listed as 1.5"-3.5". That seems pretty Juvi to me.

I love the Blue Eye, and so do others apparently. I'm on several email notification lists, and they sell out within minutes of the emails going out. I've missed 3 times already.

Here's a link to the spotted unicorn. Big, but what the heck.
Spotted Unicorn :D

After Mark's fish problems, I'm nervous about the additions now. I may have to put them in the 60g tank and remove the Scopas to avoid any issues. The Scopas can go in with the PT and Achilles.:D

That Uni is a beast for sure!

AL use to get the Orange shoulders in pretty regular but i havnt seen one there in awhile.

I had no idea the Blue eye was so well liked

Me neither! If Blue Zoo can't get one before they ship the others, I'm gonna call and have them officially put me on a wait list. That way I don't have to try and be faster to order than everyone else. Had the same problem at LiveAquaria.:(

You stopping by AL tomorrow? I might go by for a few minutes since i live 3 minutes away. Went there today not too much fish wise. They do have 4 of the biggest green chromis i have ever seen. Vlamings tang which i really like. Blue spot Jawfish.

The Rhomboid died. they said it was eating good looked healthy. came in this morning and he was dead they said

Not sure. Wouldn't mind picking up another Mag for mixing SW and moving RO around to the other containers. What time is it again?
I saw the Rhomboid the yesterday, and you could tell he was starting to have issues. Just starting to breath hard, listless, but jumpy. Too bad.

Nice catch. Anyone have any exp with Reef hot spot?
Not sure I want to pay shipping for a single fish. I'm thinking of getting a desjardini as well, but they're $20 more than at Blue Zoo. My current dilema is placement until the 250 is ready. All these tangs are gonna kick the $#!+ out of each other!

Seen alot of positive remarks in there forum here on RC. They also have the 14 day live garuntee which is really nice and tehy are just located in L.A.

Those temp swings are fine terry

82 is nothing to worry about.

add more fans put them on a controller so they are not on all the time, only when you need them

Nick - I did add the Azoo fans (2 sets of 4) to my sump. Remember I asked you about yours? I have all 8 on my sump, and on a Ranco. They're set to turn on at 80. Since the tank temp is 82, they're on pretty much all day. The temp of 82 is OK, but I think the 4 degree swing is a problem. I'll add more fans to the top of the tank to see if I can keep the temp swing lower. I ran my tank 78-79 during the winter. If I can't keep the temp down enough, I may turn the Ranco up to keep my tank in the 80-82 range for the summer until I figure out a way to get a chiller aboard.

4 degrees is not that big of deal. This last week, I have been lucky to get the tank down to 78. My chiller comes on at 82.

im with mark my swing is around 3 or 4 degrees.

i think you should put more fans in there, i had 2 sets of 4 on my 50G,
