2'' of Snow in June...Snowonyx

Reef1589

Anemones for life
So last night i was able to bring home my new Snowonyx pair, thanks to mitch,(booyah's reef), his clownfish are awsome looking.. i will definantly be making any future purchases of clownfish from him :) he's a good guy to deal with in my eyes..

i was told this pair is 1 yr 9mo old.. :) i didnt ask, but im assuming they had been together most of the time..

im using this Thread to keep track of them, growing.. and see what they do, it'll be nice to look back when they were wee tiny clowns

they are still a little stressed... in the new tank.. i put a tiny chunk of rod's food in there and htey ate it up already.. so thats good :)
for the most part they've stayed to the left upper corner of the tank though.

Onto the show...

Hey Reef1589,

That's a nice pair you have there and some great color development; thanks for sharing. They are still young -- about 8 months or less. They were bred and raised at Sustainable Aquatics in TN as the result of a mixed pairing that was made in May of 2010 -- hence my confidence in their age :) Good to hear that they are eating. I hope they do well for you!

Thanks all :) i havent picked out names for them yet.. i love this pair of fish though :)

still playing the shy card.. :( but venturing into the tank more and more :) wherever the female goes the male follows behind it :D

Picture Update!

Picture Update!

So, just thought id do a small update on the clowns, they seem to be happy so far :)
and i think they've grown a little bit already...

they are both eating fine :) got them on a New Life Spectrum Thera +A diet as well as frozen food homemade from the breeder.. so they are eatin good :)

as of now they still swim in the far right corner by the powerhead :(!
but the male tends to swim up to the glass to me from time to time :)
