2012 Bow Season starts 10/1!?!

he wasn 't the bruiser living behind the landowners house... but the boss is happy (once she gets over me taking her car this morning). got pretty lucky, my ride dropped my bow case before the hunt. it knocked my sights 5 " to right at 20yds. hopefully i can get out with the dogs for grouse and woodcock

Best thing my dad ever did for me when I was around 4 he bought me a lifetime hunting and fishing licence. Much cheeper when your that young.
Thought you were taking the season off? LOL. Can't do it, huh?
It is definitely cheaper. I figured it out, and it will take about 10 years to start saving money if I buy a lifetime license now. It's hard to shell out the $1000 all at once though.
It is definitely something I want to do for my kid though. It is WAY cheaper to buy them before kids turn 5.

good a$$ day. sat for a few hours, nada. came home and had a coffee date with the wife. i made us brined backstrap, garlic mashed potatoes, and parmesan brussel sprouts. had wild apples and pumpkin donuts for dessert. buffalo trace bourbon washed it down . Rochester can be allright this time of year

Nice job Mark. Were you using Rage 2 blades? I thought I remember you saying that a long time ago (maybe last year?). I just switched to them.
I had two decent sized does mill around in front of me for 45 minutes last weekend. They were a little too far away though. The closest they got was 46 yards. With my current setup, I would have taken a 40 yard shot, but 46 is just a little too far. Maybe at the end of the season...
