I saw his sumps at MACNA this past year. I was HIGHLY impressed with them. I mean a sump is a sump to a certain point but attention to detail, finishing work, and the layout you chose can make a reefer's life much easier and the tank healthier. I walked away impressed. The only other sump guys there who were close was Synergy which is not too surprising considering the two have worked jointly on some items like the overflow and such.

Reef Savvy didn't build the stand. Chris Benner of Benners Woodworking built it. He's a true craftsmsn, just like RS. They are a good team. Not sure of the wood or finish, Chris will have to chime in on that one.Reef Savvy built my stand also. Solid as a rock. If you don't mind, what wood, and what stain did you chose?
