I saw his sumps at MACNA this past year. I was HIGHLY impressed with them. I mean a sump is a sump to a certain point but attention to detail, finishing work, and the layout you chose can make a reefer's life much easier and the tank healthier. I walked away impressed. The only other sump guys there who were close was Synergy which is not too surprising considering the two have worked jointly on some items like the overflow and such.

I agree. I've not seen a Synergy sump in person but from the pictures they do look amazing. RS/Felix attention to detail is amazing. I can't wait to se it in person.

Got 3 more stand pics. Should be finished and crated and out the door on Wed. Due to the holiday I probably won't see it till next Tues (5th). Already planning on taking off most of next week.

Reef Savvy didn't build the stand. Chris Benner of Benners Woodworking built it. He's a true craftsmsn, just like RS. They are a good team. Not sure of the wood or finish, Chris will have to chime in on that one.

It is alder wood veneer. I can't recall the name of the stain but it matches the doors in my house/office.

Thanks everyone. I'm super ready to see everything. Got good news that the tank shipped today. Should have it later this week or early next week. Stand ships tomorrow.

Not yet. I need to pull the DI kit off my other RO/DI unit. Will probably do that this weekend. Thanks for the reminder.

Ran into some trouble with the skimmer fitting into the sump. The skimmer section is 1/4" too narrow. The skimmer will fit but it presses on the wall between the skimmer and return section.
