BABY SHARK!?!?! I love that! Speaking of which... one of my LFS's has a week-old banded cat shark in his tank, it's so CUTE! It can't really swim that well yet... but it's such a pig

Anyways, I'm really excited to see how this tank turns out and I was actually thinking about my next tank (a 500 or 680 depending on my budget) and I wanted to put a little shark in there... but then I realized that it will it my eurypegasus draconis that I'm having my lfs get for me. O_O... that wouldn't be good.

So yeah, keep us updated, sounds like you've got a pretty cool tank in the works :strooper:

Yes, they are retro'ed w/a dual 250w Coralvue electronic ballast

No, but since I still have to finish one more, I will make sure to take pics

I was thinking about adding a 24" VHO or dual T5HO for the dawn/dusk effect. I am already adding LED moonlights.

Oh, did I say it will have an integrated timer that will be accessible from the outside of the reflector?

Why did you switch the Dolphin 1/15hp pump for a Wave I 1/6hp pump? Of the the 2 which one is quieter? I am looking to replace my 2 Quiet One 14000's with a new pump and Dolphin and Wave are high on my list. Need feed back on the QUIETEST pump around.

Wave or Dolphin are just as quiet, both are good choices.

ggk1988: Love that dragon wrasse! Used to have one years ago but a power failure did him in. He got sluggish w/out O2 and a crab gobbled him up. We called him Tojo. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing this tank set up! ivgonmad: where did you get that sump/fuge? Was it custom made?

The sump used to be a 75g show tank, it was modified to be a sump by Carlos @ SDA (San Diego Acrylics)
