$30,000 dollar angelfish!!!!

OK, I know I'm being picky but... Anyone else notice the ripped/ragged fins on that Peppermint in the OP's video? I don't know if he came in looking like that or he's being nipped at (the Abei makes a run at him at one point in the video), but if I had a 30k angelfish he'd have his own tank. ;)

she was fine, it happens...they seem to be doing great with others in the tank...
in retrospect, that is the one thing I wish I had in my qt when I received mine...

Bonded pair of Peppermints without question from the simple standpoint of everyone knows that's a 30k fish... Two of them! Plus they are striking and won't get huge like most other angels

pair of peps would be killer and so would a pair of personatus!
but imo, it is an unfair comparison- apples to oranges...
peps are so small and personatus get quite large...
would boil down to avail space and size of system...

Ok, here's the $50,000 question. Which would you rather have(assuming you had the luxury to choose) a bonded pair of Personatus or a bonded pair of Peppermints???????!!!

For me, if they were juvi's, I'd take the pair of Personatus, otherwise peps ;)

My dream tank would be a tank with just a pair of Personatus. Imagine that?

I actually have m Personatus and it'll NEVER die on me :D

Tinkers too :)

Dude, stop over thinking this and pick one! ;)

Wow. I'm not into tattoos but that is amazing art!! With your choice of species and the flowers that look like plumeria you must have a Hawaii connection?

I agree 100%, dream tank is a pair of personatus.:spin3:

Due to their size, I'd have to go with a pair of peppermint angels. I prefer smaller fish as compared to larger ones, they don't make the tank look so dang small.

People like what they like for a variety of reasons. Not everybody says I got to have this fish because it is so rare and hard to collect. Some people do, some people no.

How is that Ironic? Cause I have a corvette that didnt cost nearly what a fish does.

Think your missing the point. FYI if you can afford one or several of these fish mentioned, you would most likely own cars that are much more expensive then a vet and could own a vet in every color they make. Let's stick with the point of the thread which is fish not cars

Ok Ted, I didn't think was a way to lose at this game, but you just lost! Lol ;)

they are both beautiful but if asked to chose between the tiny personatus that hof had a few years ago and a pep of the same size, like the one I had, I would take the pep..the golden yellow on the fins, eyes, face was stunning..
