Oh .... by the way...
I read about all the stand pipes (Durso and Stockman etc )and found that if you keep the water levels right you can keep it very quiet with just holes drilled in the pipes.

I have discarded the stockman covers on the standpipes. It is now only drilled holes.

As you can see I have 3 live rocks to start the tank off. 20 pounds.( thats all I could afford after the build lol) Very cool to see the new critters that appear. Each day it is an interesting view. I can never tell what new things I will see. I LOVE THIS HOBBY!!!!!! I am very excited and I haven't even got a fish yet lol.

Anyway I have more pics. I hope there is a few still with me.

Your tank looks awesome. I am always amazed with all of the critters that seem to appear out of thin air ...err water. lol

looks awesome, one day ill go with an inwall.

Dont you think the pile of rocks will turn into a dead spot? Otherwise, i love the openness of the tank, lots of swimming space :)
Also, are you going to put any other flow aside from the return pump? IME, more flow is very beneficial, (more oxygen, less algae)

Looking good. Nice setup, But I was kind of thinking the same think about the rock pile in the corner.. Doesn't look bad but I think you will end up with a ton of funk down in those rocks over time. Just no way for water flow to get in there as is.

More Pictures BTW

Thanks SIguy :)

I don't think there is a day that goes by that I don't see something new. So far lots of underwater bugs, starfish etc...Im having more fun with the live rock than I think Ill have with the fish and corals.
