I should have new updates tonight. I hope to pick up the big Sohal.

Bit of an update. We were unsuccessful in trying to catch the big Sohal Tried for an hour with 3 nets. He is to large to even fit in the biggest net! Owner is going to try and egg crate off part of the tank in hopes in getting him. Tank is looking good all water parms are bang on! I did get a new fish yesterday it's a French Angel about 6". My LFS has had this guy in for around 2 months and he eats like a champ. I did some major cleaning to the tank when I got back into town. I used a turkey baster and blew off all the rocks. Wow did allot of gunk come out. Did a 20g siphon- water change off the bottom to remove the detritus.


My Ro unit while I was gone plugged up. My membrane was clogged and I had a bad carbon cartridge. Jayson at my LFS store was nice enough to come down and fix the problem while I was away My girlfriend had to buy some 5 gal jugs of Ro water from the store for a few days. She was not happy

I think just the bottom is (maybe 3/4) the sides are Starphire so they must be 1/2 inch. I believe he has 4 6 inch wide braces on the top, two on the ends and two in the middle.

The bottom glass is 5/8". I do have 4 6" cross braces on the tank. I will get some new pics up of the tank today. I have a few new additions to the tank Tank is running very well.

Hey, did you hear about the release of the dual tuner HD PVR by Bell? Are you getting one? The price (under$600) seems pretty reasonable.

The sides are 5/8" also

Another update........


Got a few new fish 3 yellow tangs and a copper butterfly fish since my last update. Tank is doing very well. I have no problems with nuisance algae have major coralline algae taking off in the tank. Still got to get my butt in gear and get the framing done around the tank. I will wait till fall time since I have not much time in the summer months to do anything
