LOL....... I did my first siphon today! Wow did I have allot of debris snail poop collecting on the side of the glass and the Starboard. Since this is the first time I have gone BB you just do not see this stuff when you have a sand bed. Yuck glad to get this stuff out of the system.

Another small Update. My LFS just got in fresh uncured Haitian LR. I was able to pick my rock and clean it before I purchasing it I picked out 150Lbs the stuff looks great! I did bring one big piece home and added it to the tank. Was cleaning of all sponges. I hope to add more after it has cured. I would like to get the rock work done I will post some pics soon.

So far I like it. For the money its hard to beat. Pumps allot of water and is very quiet.

Another update got back in to town. I added the last of the LR to the tank. I picked up 3 250w CoralVue electronic ballast running 14K CV bulbs and Reef Optics pendents. Tomorrow I hope to mount them. I'm pleased with the rock formations it adds great depth to the tank from both sides.

I finished installing my CoralVue ballasts and pendents. I'm very happy with the color of these bulbs. Very bright crisp white with a little hint of blue. For the most part I will be running the MH for viewing only. Will be using my 4 VHO URI Atinics for dawn and dusk effect. Looks like I will have to wait till I get back into town again to pick up the big Sohal.

It was so easy to aquascape with this rock. Unlike using Fiji rock which is round. The clown I had in my 240g for 8 months he is very docile.
