375 gallon build thread

I figured I'd start a build thread to chronicle my journey from beginning to TOTM. ;) I am also going to keep track of every dollar spent...I'm curious to know how much this system is going to cost.

A lot of these build threads take awhile to be completed, but hopefully mine isn't too far from water. Thanks to Butch for all of the help with sanding this thing. For those of you that have never sanded an 8 foot acrylic tank...DON'T.

I'll update again later.

P.S. Yeah, yeah I know...CRICKETS. Beat ya's to it. :hammer:

You can only say Crickets if nobody responds to your thread for at least 2 days (and it moves off the main page) ;)

Can't wait to see your progress. Tracking the expenses is a bad idea, it only serves to make you cry later on.

Got it home to Port Richey from Orlando thanks to Russ and his truck...

Then got a helping hand getting it in the house through the garage. I knew it would fit all along...thanks again guys!!!

Then I sold some equipment, and bought some more.

By the way, you know you're nuts when your skimmer is almost as big as your 11 month old. :hammer:

My rock is on it's way as we speak, and the rest of my lighting is 'out for delivery' so I'll have more pics soon. I'm just glad I got these ones in before the 'THIS THREAD IS WORTHLESS WITHOUT PICS' signs started showing up.

LOL

Haha, sorry about that. It's been so long since the tank move. ;) SORRY ALLISON! I'm sure I'll hear about next time I see her. lol lol

Looks like you're off to a good start - the hard parts done! BTW - is that Mike Lamb's old (in a good way) stand?

More toys came today!! (And I'm not even talking about JASON BAY!)
