That always sucks....fish in that small of tank don't always like it but I've never had a problem with inverts. Could try a fire shrimp or a pair of gold coral bandeds. If ur look to another fish I've never have had a clown gody or small gobies jump.

Yeah I think I'm going to go with a small crab or shrimp instead of another fish.

What about making a perforated acrylic top for the tank? Should help with jumping fish/evaporation and could look very clean with clear acrylic.

The problem with that is that the front of the tank is curved glass. I don't know how I would cut a piece of acrylic to match it.

Tons of options. Jigsaw with fine tooth metal blade is most readily avaliable. You could find a machine shop with a water jet, most glass shops could do it.

Nice tank. I'm getting the 5.2 gallon tank from Ecoxotic and I can't wait to get started with it. You have given me some good ideas.

I don't have a daily or monthly maintenance, just a weekly of water change, clean collection cup and change GAC when I get the reactor back online.

OK here's my new list:

• change water
• change GAC
• clean collection cup
• top off fresh water reservoir
• wipe tank tops and light covers
• clean glass
• clean probes
• clean wetside of vortech
• plug ATO and ozone back in
• take out trash

It's the 12k version.

Thanks guys. I need to do a water change bad on this tank. It has kind of been neglected at the moment due to me starting the new 10g project. I'll try and get some more pics up and maybe a video.
