hero, thanks!! yes, the stand was totally built by me, you can see more pics in my thread under the 'my homepage' link. i had to do the orange doors when i saw the elos orange door stand. it's really hard to take pics that really capture the color tho..

I'm not hell bent on using it. Just figured it would be a good way to have less noticable equipment in the tank.

Couldn't you use that with an external durso style setup, or even a beananimal/herbie system?

That would be almost quiet-silent.

Thanks for the link. That's to much piping for me. I'm still interested in using a strainer though, that along with 2 return nozzles would be a clean look.

I'm in the process of upgrading a 20l that I have with bta's. I'm wanting to use a T5 Tek fixture. Would the 4x39 be enough? I'm still brainstorming on the whole thing and putting my list together. I'm using mh over the 20l atm and would like to go the t5 route with this tank. TIA!

she is so small, I just started my 90gallon build wont be ready till summer tho. Ill be transferring everything into it. Just started curing my live rock. You like the layout?? I know its hard to tell, but my digital camera is not very good.

they get big fast so if you are planning on sticking with the 40 breeder there is a good chance that before you know it, you will hve to sell it. Great to look at, kinda the centerpiece in my tank. I want a ton of frags now to fill in the open areas, no more large corals. Some of mine are huge.
