Thanks Curt, I love that clam, it realy looks great from above as well as through the glass. What lights do you run on you 40b? I'm always trying to fine tune my bulb choice between the 2 150w MHs and 4 T5s.

Hows the light coverage with the 24'' inch fixture, im planning on upgrading to to a 40 Breader from from my 20 gallon and it would be great to use the same light for a little while untill I can get a larger fixture.

My 40br is in the last stages of being plumbed. My mutant 40 Quasi-cube has a lumen bright with a radium 250 se. Looking at t5 just to try something new this time around, which is real hard to do when my current combo looks so good.

I would be curious to see how you liked the coverage of a 250w over the 40B. I really like my Current fixture but in the future would consider a single MH pendant in either 250w of even a 400w suspended a little higher.

rkb,

Awesome tank! What types of fish do you have in there and how many? I need to stock my tank that is currently cycling so that my daughter would appreciate it. Thanks.

Fishsuse29,
I think the light coverage is pretty good. I got some corals on the bottom on the left and right side, so far they are doing pretty well. If you hang the light about 6 inch up it will cover everything.

I like it a lot. I've been using that for 3 years now. So far no problem with it. The only thing i replace is the pump.

awesome thread guys. I am moving into an apartment so downsizing will be happening due to space and this thread i am very happy with my choice of a 40 breeder. now i just need to pick one up. but my 60gal has the same foot print but 1 foot longer, originally was inspired by the 40 breeder

If I were in the market for a 40b I would consider a 50b. Same footprint as the 40 but a couple inches taller.

I have a Current Sundial fixture with 4 LED MLs built in. Great feature and they give a nice look to the tank. I have 2 blues on the outside and 2 whites in between.
