This is a friends 40BR that has always inspired me...

Does anyone know what kind of lighting is over the tank? MH, T-5s, LED's?

beautiful breeders! I'll be setting up my own (sumpless) 40 in the next week or two, and I've been using this thread to get ideas on aquascaping.

something I'm wondering is how many fish do all you have in your tanks, and what kinds? I have a tendency to overstock my tanks, and in looking up the accepted bioload limit, I've gotten numbers ranging from three to fifteen.

Need a new fish. Got rid of my Sailfin tang (went to a 225g) now have 2 B/W Clowns and a Midas Blenny. Really want a Cherub Angel but I'm afraid it will become a tyrant with the current friendly fish I have now. Looking for a open swimmer that will be friendly, move through the rockwork, and is midly appealing to the eye.

haha, you just described an angel. If it is one of the last fish in, it shouldn't be too aggressive. Ive had more aggression issues with clowns than with my potters, but it all comes down to the individual.

mine; its about 3 weeks old, with 95% of the rock coming from 1-3 year old tanks. fish are a YWG, coral beauty, sixline, royal gramma, and a YT damsel (all added from my other tanks). sorry for the crappy picture, lol

Nice tanks everyone. Just went through the whole thread (basically loooking at pics only). 40B is the best size amoung the smaller tanks.
