Vlad--There is just no way to tell. Hundreds? Thousands? They parents spent about 4 hours making the nest.... Unfortunately, the babies come out really small. I don't think anyone's gotten a huge percentage through meta, probably a first food bottleneck.

Jonathan--Well, they are starting to take over. I have a local guy waiting to take a breeding population from me, but they hide whenever I come near the tank with a collection bucket. They know.... I have ~10 egg packets from the Collumbellids on the display tank glass right now, too.... Eek.
Horse baby update. Day 3 (the day big die-off started on the last run). By this point last time, I had already lost 1/3 of the fry and another 1/3 would be dead by the end of the day. This time, 1 cull so far.
