Well, it's official. I just turned green from envy. I like how you said that the birdsnest was "overwhelming the middle of the tank".

Your entire SPS collection is overwhelming the 225 gallon water volume!!!

Is there a larger tank in the works. Dare I say a 400?

Great job Keith. Really gives us minions something to aspire to.

Reefbum,

Congratulations! A very nice, actually, GREAT tank! Just wondering how did you decide where to put what SPS where? Do they touch each other? Do you have to occasionally cut some off to ensure that no SPS are touching, stinging, excreting toxins, etc?

You sir, should be ashamed of yourself!! :jester:

Posting all these pictures in a hobby forum; you've obviously given up your amatuer status a long time ago! :bounce3:

Amazing to see the growth progression in the 2 pictures.....especially on that red tabling acro in the top right (Red Planet?).

I'm just about to remove the Green Slimer from my tank also.....once they get going it's tough to keep up with the pruning needed for them and they certainly do need a lot of space.

Any plans for a bigger tank in the near future?

Thanks Neal. Feel free to reach out to me for a tank tour if you are ever in my neck of the woods.

that would be friggen great! Do you know Scott Cato? i was gonna look into checking out his system as he is good buddy's with one of my best friends... either way, where in CT are you exactly? I am heading to Clinton in the near future to do some frag trading, perhaps i could make a day of it :)

always good to look over a system like yours and learn about other's methods and husbandry...

Amazing looking tank one of the BEST.The stag on the left is growing crazy. Is it time remove him as well.

Again, many thanks folks for the very kind words!

Thanks Mike! A couple of those frags I picked up from you have grown into some sweet colonies. I hope things are going well with that awesome tank of yours.

Many thanks! Placement depends on the lighting and flow demands for the corals. I also try to place corals with contrasting colors next to one another to help them stand out and pop. And yes.....many do touch so sometimes I have to be careful with the more aggressive ones.

Thanks. Yes....that is a Red Planet in the upper right....a super fast grower for me. I hear ya about the Slimer...mine even grew fast in the shade :lolspin:

I don't know Scott although I almost went up to check out his old tank. I live in Ridgefield, which is next to Danbury, so certainly reach out to me if you are around the area.
