Are any of these pieces maricultured, or have you been growing all of these as frags?

Some are wild colonies, some are/were frags, some are aquacultured frags and others are bits from here and there

Man, I'd love to pickup a new tank. Lucky you. We need pics of the corals and of the new tank.

I'm definitely excited! I was going to take a bunch of really nice top downs but I got really angry over how they were turning out so I gave up haha so no real new pictures aside from these couple lol

I didn't end up getting it My blasted mate decided to hurt his shoulder so we couldn't go and get it haha hopefully in the next few days though!

That red chalice is our defense against the yanks ordinary looking orangey setosa's mate lol. That efflo is super easy to keep and will take off once it settles in. If you don't see bright green polyps it's not getting enough PAR.
When you bring my wrasse over make sure that purple tipped frag is in the bucket too please Dom.

haha it's definitely a defence alright, pity those setosa's aren't much chop in comparison :lol2:
I'm loving it, it does get those bright green terminal polyps so I think it's in the right spot

So as some of you may know I visited the lovely Andrew last weekend to get my Radium bulb installed but he gave me something even more awesome, the secret to having the most amazing sps tanks you can imagine and I think it's starting to really work! Have a look at the polyp extension I'm getting!! :eek2:




If you watch really carefully in the video you'll be able to juusstt make out the secret

It is something that I really was never expecting to be the secret but he is really on to something here, he's going to kill me for mentioning it though :worried: :lolspin: if all goes well I might ask him if he wants to share it :wildone:

Reef roids is too fine like dust. It must be Biggles' secret reef food.

That not-so-fine particulate matter is actually just plain old crap from my sump haha I don't feed any reef roids or anything, I'd just given the sump a vigorous stir and the acro's love it

There's no secret guys, not that I know of at least lol just a lot of hard work and dedication really We I caught up with Andrew we were discussing people trying to find "the secret" to reefing and not realising that there simply isn't one. It's all about the time and effort you put into your tank but, mostly, it's about why you do and how much you love doing it and the animals in your care. If you love them and enjoy reefing and look after them, they'll reward you with glorious colours and PE! I just thought I'd play funny buggers after out discussion

Took a couple of shots the other morning of my lovely little clam and the garden that is starting to grow around it, it's starting to look really good which is what I was intending lol





Also my secret stash frag rack is looking really nice at the moment too, some real nice goodies growing out! The reason it's secret is because Andrew threatens terrible things when he know's I've been buying more of them!







Also the new hawkfish have started to settle nicely and are both eating That picture update will come soon though
