50 Cube SPS Zeo Reef

Nice "fire engine" acro you have there, not too common in these parts. Any more info you could share would be awesome

A red smooth skin acro? My god. I think Biggles said it best. :D
Wait till you see the pic I took last night ;) No editing or anything just the acro!

It's my fav lol what sort of info are you after? It's at the top of the tank with a medium flow and it's loving that spot aside from the vermitid snails that were in that area (now dead :blown:)

I finally managed to take some new top down shots while fighting my lighting unit to get them haha not as good as I'd like but I'm pretty happy given I couldn't use the viewfinder :( lol
The FIRETRUCK

One of my Biggle Frags :) Got some nice blueish growth tips to it

A really nice frag that I'm loving at the moment from another friend!

One of my favourite deepwater species :)

And of course the shot just to annoy Andrew :P

More to come!

Robusta still holding nicely!

This, this is why SSC is one of the best acro's out there!

My efflo, finally starting to do it's efflo thing :p

Amazing colors. I need to convince my wife that diving in Australia should be high on our list of things to do. I can think of a few tanks I'd like to sneak into on our last day to bring home some trophies.

Awesome pics, any idea on the species of the Fire Truck? I've seen a lot of acro, nothing red and growth form like that one.

Gorgeous top down shots!!! That firetruck acro and the coral from biggles is out of this world!
Thanks mate! They're some of my favourites :)

Cheers! haha you're more than welcome to swing by if you're ever in Melbourne :) Some interesting cold water dives here too!

A. divaricata is the species of acro that it was bought as and when it's grown out it definitely looks like it too even though it doesn't bear much resemblance at the moment lol

I learned to dive in a quarry that is in the 40's and 50's with about 5 feet of visibility. As long as it's warmer than that, I'm game.

You got some amazing corals there. As everyone already mentioned, that red one is stunning! Good job getting that color on it. The Biggles frag and the robust are also really nice

Well you'll have a breeze in Melb then :p little bit of current though so hopefully you enjoy a good back and forth haha

Thanks mate :) I'm really really really pleased with how the tank is running at the moment!

Rest of the corals are looking stunning mate. Loving the success you're having.

+1 the robusta is super nice as well, great collection and colors.
Thanks Josh  I'm really happy that the robusta is holding out nicely and still coming along!

I want a firetruck acro :(
Hey get in line buddy :)
Haha you'll both have to get in line! I made the mistake of posting it on Facebook and it lit up like a firework haha :fun5: everyone wants some now!

Thanks man :) I'm loving the success I'm having too, hopefully it can keep up and continue! Even once the new tank is running which may be a little longer away now lol looks like a move could be on the cards soon!

Has my red acro frag covered the plug yet Dom.......... is that it next to that yummy purpley blue tipped frag your friend gave you ? I think you should give me that one too......... :p

I went to Deer Park on Sunday and bought Dave's last 20kg bag of 3mm coral sand :) While i was there i found the fish i want and Dave said if you paid for one up front he would try to get another one in for me - before you say anything i want you to know that Clarion angels usually go for $3500- and i managed to talk Dave down to $2800-.
That's $700- i just saved you mate so the right thing to do is split your savings between us since i'm the one who did the hard work. Go and pay for my fish and while you're at the shop give Dave the $350- and i'll use it as store credit. ;)

I used the flash to get non blue pics so the Clarion's eye's look weird even though they're perfectly fine. He's been at the shop for over 5 weeks and is already sold. He eats from Dave's hand and follows you at the glass begging for food like he's already yours............ in real life it's the prettiest fish i've ever laid eyes on, as long as i have mine before xmas i'll be happy thanks Dom ;)

The blue and pink ric was a ridiculous price so you don't need to get that for me Dom. :)

Wow, beautiful Clarion. They are that expensive in Aus? That's crazy. They're less than half that price here, which is still over what I'd want to spend for one. If I ever get a bigger tank though, I'm getting one!
