540 in wall from Sunrise FL......

needed to create an auto feeder box that would allow foods to be feed by an auto feeder and remain in the water column until they sank instead of going over the overflow....took this idea from a good friend who had something similar and decided to see if I could create something......designed it so the auto feeder would sit on top of it and then it would hang from the euro brace so that when it drops the food in the DT the food would fall into the square that extends into the water column and will hold the food on top of the water until it is saturated and sinks ........it extends about an 1.5 in below the water level, I located it next to a return flow line so that when the food sinks it gets shot out in the jet stream into the tank.....it was a success ....less than 1% went over the overflow

and here is a video of it where you can see hardly any food moving even close to the overflow and sinking to the bottom....this also was the first time feeding flakes so no one even knew what they were ....seemed like the only one interested in them at the beginning was my copper band lol

Nice wrasses. I have a pair of the blacks in my QT. If you don't mind me asking, where did you order yours along with the blue stars?

I order almost exclusively from LiveAquaria......the customer service, health, and selection is impeccable.......all the current wrasse in this display are from LiveAquaria with the exception of the mystery, christmass, and pair of adult red coris that I raised from juvs which came from one LFS here in town....

More New Arrivals ......

Thanks they are starting to build up to what I have visioned for it......a 540 wrasse, tang, and angel sanctuary lol

Holy smokes! Nice and big... loving all of the wrasses.

Thank you ....tHE .....WRASSES HAVE INVADED LOL....angels, tangs, and wrasses were the initial intentions of this build. I have started changing up the sump setup a little with more attention given to pod growth to assist in natural nutrition for the livestock along with more daily fresh and live nutrition feeding....added live blackworms, fish eggs, and clams to the daily menu
