nope they are fine in mid 70s and even upper 70s now I wouldnt want to run long term in 80s.......... mine came from a friend that had his system at 76-77 with a chiller for over a year so my temps arnt but a degree or so from that....IMO consistency is more important than one or two degrees of temp differences...
 
I see you're pretty good with acrylic, I want to redo my sump and would love for you to help me redesign it. Hopefully your tank is on the next tank hop trip so I can see it.

Great thread for a guy in the middle of setting up a tank of almost the same size. Can't wait till it ships, should be next week I hope!
 
Looks great! Im setting up a 330 72x30x36....your tank re-motivated me to get moving!. Im now in Broward....Chi-town transplant, would love to see it in person one day. In a new house for about 2 months now and with evrything else going on, mines about a month away from being up and running. Cheers.

Thanks its taken about 7 months to get it to where it is now....most of the bigger fish came from my old 300 ....all the wrasses and these 10 new angles were added this summer.....

Thanks for the offer. Want to redesign it soon since I've purchased my Rodi unit finally and could make enough water to refill it quick aftee I drain it do to move it out the way.

Thanks petere1989....yes this is a fish only .....I do have some corals ....they are spread out in a few friends tanks at the moment

what part of Illinois are you from .....I grew up near champaign
