How are those lights, Im thinking of starting out with three 48 led 20x20 fixtures, dimable, with the capabilities to move them up to 72 each.....colors R,B,RB,G,CW

Tks, I will be putting up more everyday .....its further along than when I started the thread. It just took forever to organize all the pics and take the time out to start the build thread. I wanted to have time to read, respond to questions, and post updates in the thread daily before I started the build thread. I didn't want readers reading one thing and having to wait a week for some more updates or responses. It took me about a month and a half nights and weekends to get to where it is today. That also included a week of vacation I just had off where I was able to dedicate 7 straight days to it. Defiantly wouldn't have moved along as quick as it has without the assistance of some good friends helping with things from time to time that's for sure.

Also stop by anytime you want to see it since your local....

return lines constructed and in place.....

there are 8 returns that run on 2 separate reeflow super gold dart pumps both 4300gph.....each one runs 4 separate 3/4 lock line returns that are T ed off of the 1 1/2 return line so each pump can run wide open....each of the 8 lines have a 3/4 valve on it so I can adjust each line separately if I chose too......the master line between the two pumps is connected with a true union valve in the middle that stays closed separating the two sides so each pump runs 4 returns but if I had an issue with one of the pumps I could open the valve and run all 8 with just one pump for redundancy if I needed to...

a couple of the lock lines installed..... the 2 on each side 4 total on the DT go about half way down in the tank and are off set at each end of the DT for circulation ..... the other 4 come in from the front and face down at a 45 degree angle at off set points in the DT....shooting for about 7000gph.....

Tagging along very nice set up. thats a dream tank. I am in lighthouse point, and would love to see your set up some day. that is a perfect size for a nice reef. Do you get your fish locally from somebody, it seems like its become harder to find good people. So far the best rare fish people I found around is Marine net inc, he sold me a medium black tang this weekend for $459.00. If you have any good connections I would love to know who you use
