You certainly will have the swimming room for a bunch of tangs, and that's a bunch of tangs listed there!

It should look magnificent!

great looking setup... I'm guessing you'd want to put in the little guys in first giving them a chance get established first

Great list...suggestion, not sure if you purposely didn't include or just forgot to include a blue hippo tang or yellow belly blue hippo tang. Their personality makes it one of my favorite fish. They are always butting their noses into other fishes business and they often break up quarrels by butting in. Great fish IMO.

ok maybe "some other cool tang" can be the hippo. :)

How long do you guys think I need to let it sit before the fish go in? I am almost thinking it didn't even have a cycle?? Is that possible?

its half and half

ok so how long before its safe for fish.

I used about half new water, half old water from both the 210 and the 400.

LR all came out of the 210 or 400.

mostly new pulverized limestone sand seeded with a little bit of LS from the 210.

current conditions.

Ammonia = 0 ppm
Nitrite = 0 ppm
Nitrate = 15-20ppm

It is possible that a cycle didn't occur. I would leave for a week to make sure and if everything is still balanced then I would go ahead and slowly add fish from the smallest up.

Great advice Kar, I think the key word here would be "SLOWLY" add fish. Reason I say that 20vturbo is because my tank was already established from the previous owner for about a year and when I bought it, it went through a very shorty cycle and I figured I could just add as many fish as the previous owner had in there without waiting. Big mistake, my bacteria couldn't handle a large bioload all at once and so I love a few fish and a few got sick. I hope others learn from my mistake and so adding a couple small fish at a time is a great idea until beneficial bacteria can handle a larger bioload (larger and more fish like tangs)

whoops, i meant i LOST a few fish..but then again i lost a few fish that I loved, so i guess i was partially right. lol.

looked good this AM until I moved the rocks...now its just as cloudy as before! :(

that clown looks happy...tank looks great, one suggestion if i may, not that you have not done everything perfectly, but you took all that time for your back ground which i plan on doing, why not paint the or get black pvc for the tubing that shows in the tank...sorry if that sounds out of line...great job on it all. are you going to at my LR? just wondering awesome i am following this one!
