6 ft SPS tanks, what are your bulbs?

does anyone see a problem with a single 250 hamilton 14k with no actinic on a 24x24x17? this is my first shot at stonies. i wont be all sps, but id like to have some along with lps a few softies and a clam.

Jim, I have been running these Iridius 20K's from China since May 05'. I have been happy with the results so far.

I run 3 250 watt XM 10K w/ 2 6' URI super actinic of 320 watts. Really crisp white with a tinge of blue color. I'd do that or maybe 480 watts of actinic.

No. You can mount them in your canopy. You can pick them up for 30 bucks a piece. There is a place where you can buy the ones the police confiscated from the pot growers for that price.

They are VERY big and bulky though.

i bought a pair off of the site, took about a month to find them listed in thier auctions, but once they were listed i snatched them up. they were like 50$ each plus 15$ shipping each. they arrived very quickly and were also very dirty, but some metal polish and they shine quite nice.
