600 gallon Display/ 900 gallon system

i dont know how i missed this thread before but not anymore
really great job on the build and how well thought out it was!

Well let me start by saying Im sorry for taking so long to respond to some of you, I guess the subscription to my own thread was not working correctly, since I never got a message saying that there were posts.... On that note I will try and answer all of you.

Wow your set up is amazing. How long did it take you?

Took me right at two years to complete the build....mostly because I travel quite a bit with work, and Im pretty anal about how things are done and I wanted to take my time... although I still feel like there are several things I should have done differently and Im still trying to improve things.

Glad you found it... I appreciate it.

wow... thats an amazing system!

Thanks so much!

Love the clown tang.

Me too, but unfortunately it died about two weeks after I introduced him... Im thinking maybe it was either the way he was caught or some sort of internal parasite that was not visible.. He was fat and ate well up to the night before I found him dead.

do you still have the harlequin tusk?

Yup sure do, hes a great fish and is getting big fast!

I re-read through your build thread since I have been out for a while. I am still very much impressed with the behind the scenes. I hope to replicate it soon.

Nice thread. I dont know why but I like seeing the plumbing that goes into a large setup such as this. Great build beautiful tank. Congrats.
