That's what I did and it's all quiet and clean.

Good to hear. Now give the tubing a few days to slime up and the bubbles going down the drain will decrease even more which will also make your drain even more quiet.

You probably can but I don't have the fountain effect anymore.

I was researching under water plane, ship, or sub wreck and they were encrusted with gorgs, whips, and other types of of those corals so I will be following suit with that theme. Or I can place acros on the plane also.
