That stand looks like a beast. Taking it slow has a lot of advantages. There are things on my build I would change if I had a couple extra monthsKeep up the good work!
Really great to see some progress on this build!
Wayne - I am just catching up on your thread man. Please take it easy on that knee. You don't want to make your surgery worse than it has to be. Don't over do it. Good luck and no more pushing the stand around...LOL.
At this rate I will end up visiting you and finishing the tank for you.... /EVIL GRIN\
Wayne have you decide on pumps yet for flow?
Corey

Can we get back to the "closed loop" discussion again since you are going with a new tank?
Still acrylic?
Who's making the tank?
I need details!!!!!
Corey
I will be doing a gyre flow and alternate it every 10-15 minutes.

Not sure about this man! With gyre flow your taking advantage of the momentum the water has! By alternating at short intervals you don't benefit from this
Same dimensions. 96"L x 48"W x 24"H. No center overflow.

Come on you can't mention who's building it?? I'm curious as to who you went with cause we all know I pulled my hair out trying to decide on a builder for my tank....
Corey
Wayne, great forward thinking! By the time this is set up and rocking you don't want to have to worry about that old tank messing up your sweet reef!
What style of overflow will the new tank have?
