I know D. Someone who works on acrylic told me to use the bulkheads. That only meant for me to drill 12 more holes on the plywood board and styrofoam. I saved a lot of time by doing the acrylic sheets.

I have enjoyed reading your build thread and have been continuously following along.
I am anxious to see your tank filled after all of the trials and tribulations. I have to laugh about delays caused by birthday parties, graduations, etc... I am constantly being pulled in different directions by the kids. My wife laughs because as the kids have grown older, they are away from the house a lot more. She always says... "At least you have your fish and corals!"

Thanks for following. My second daughter just graduated high school in GA so I was out of town about a week. I love those type of delays cause I know where the money went and it's also family time. Pics are a must but I'm pretty much maxed out for the moment until next month. I have to save because my daughter is getting ready for college and that will be another delay to the build as well.

I am officially mad. Found this on the the side panel. I believe is weldon, correction, I know it's Weldon 16.
It's about 1-1 1/2 inches long.

Could that possibly be weld-on from gluing the acrylic on the closed loops hole?

Stevie Wonder can see the scratch, literally. But the good thing is it can be fixed. I will have him fix it once the tank is in the house and set up.

Could that possibly be weld-on from gluing the acrylic on the closed loops hole?
It is the Weldon 16. I had to fix the overflow from a leak when I altered the type of drains. It must have dripped without me knowing. The good thing is it dried and it would have been worse if I tried it clean it off.

Looks good and I very seriously doubt you will have a leak around those bulkheads. With such a big plate you've got, looks like inches of bonded acrylic so it'd be really hard for a leak to navigate it's way post those. Just think, all the other places your acrylic is bonded together 3/4" seems (hopefully with no bubbles)!
