600 Gallon Upgrade Build

Maybe you should stop naming SPS so much. Then you could sort of sneak up on them and before they know it you'll have a total SPS system in spite of them. ;)

The rebuild has now began. This is kinda sorta gonna be a little pic intense.

We have lost MANY maricultured corals in the past. They are very, very touchy. Aquacultured stuff will usually "take a beating" and keep on keeping on.

My experience too. Have almost always steered clear of maricultured. Bought an expensive colony a few months back in a moment of weakness, and it hung in there for 15 days (of course :)) before going RTN and lost in a few hours. No more. Didn't take anything else down with it fortunately. Aquacultured and hobbyist sourced is THE way to go. Wayne, too bad you aren't closer as I've got scads of frags gratis.

Thanks for the offer. I've learned some new things about mari culture and will try the secret but in my new frag tank.
