6000 gallon system - Project.

Not always. With the right cleaning crew they may never have to deal with it. Unfortunately most restaurant displays are lacking in that area because owners feel that customers don't really want to look at snails while dining. :)

Ok so I spent another FULL day working on these monsters and we're still not done. All the tanks are plumbed in the restaurant, but the sump room is still in need of some work.

5 - 1HP RK2 pumps
1 - 2HP RK2 pump
1 - 1/4HP high flow, low pressure RK2 pump

All need to be plumbed into the bio filter, skimmer, 2 pool filters and UV. The UV is hooked up with 4" ball valves... They are HUGE... Look like Fred Flintstone valves.

Fun stuff.

Still gotta get you some pictures... Maybe tomorrow.

Definately looking forward to those pictures... Great to such a mamoth of a tank being a built start to finish... All the more Picture, All the more happier...

Ok no more posts until you get some Photos for us :D.. This is not fair to us...

Even though that is a joke, i would consider it a privilage to see this.

The biggest tank 4000Gal will be FO as he said in an earlier post.

When are we going to see some more pictures Jamesurq... would like to see whats going on, but the progess seems to be going well for you. Can't wait to see more pictures... :D Don't let me protest with the smilee banner... lol

You want him to finish the job or take pics of some unfinished plumbing? :D Let the man work! Its a LOT more work plumbing these big systems than our pidly tanks at home, I can assure you.

In due time...

Ok - just a little tease. The plumbing isn't 100% yet. We've placed the coral structures in the tanks temporarily and will "aquascape" and finish the plumbing in the next week or so. Here's a picture of the monster sized UV sterilizer. Those are 4" ballvalves... Fred Flinstone style.
EDITED> Ok - that picture was WAY too big... Let me resize it.
