Assuming Will is in Toronto, there was a major smowstorm in Southern Ontario on Thursday and Friday. Up to 18" of snow came down and everything was brought to a standstill. Pretty hard to ship a tank under those conditions.

He is in Barrie, which I believe is in Ontario ??

Bummer man, hope you get that tank this week. I know I would be getting a little impatient by now.

but you gotta keep thinking how nice it will be to have the perfect size reef... all good things are worth some wait... this is a bit though.. but still probaly worth it..

No offense, but this thread is starting to turn into a "No Picture Having" paper back book.... :) We want pics! We want pics! Give us something. :)

I agree "good things come to those who wait" but if you tell me it's going to be 6-8 wks and then each wk after that it's going to be an extra wk, and this keeps up for 6 wks going on 7 (or more could have lost track)...

LOL as Black71gp stated "good things come to those who wait"... I really did want pics up by now (waited to be quite a bit farther then I am right now)... I have been working on things around the house and dealing with other issues (EX: car accident)... All I really have right now is supplies... But if you want to see 7 buckets of salt and Tunzes boxes then I will try to post some for you later :)

Hey Shawn....how bout I help you out and post some pics of mine????

P.

HAHA, thanks for the offer Paul, but I think they would catch on sooner or later... I should have something up here very soon, will not be much, but will be something to keep the hounds at bay ;)

You know, if you saved those "for web", you'd have more room on that card. 2.5 megs per image is substantial. I have my pictures save as Fine JPG in my camera at 333,000bytes per image. With my 512meg card, I can take 1400 pictures before the card is full.

Which comes in handy when I go to MACNA for a few days. I end up with 800 pictures by the end of the trip. :)

I looked at the first picture, and you've got some nice corals. You do realize those will get lost in a 600g tank, right? ;)

I like to use the "full" potential of my camera, it's only a 4 MP camera but I have it set on "Super-Fine"... I am looking at getting a Canon 20D (8.2 MP) but I would be resizing the pics before they go on the net with that camera...

The corals I have right now are kinda small, I have a few that I ordered from Scott at Extreme Corals that after ordering them and thinking about it there was no way I could get them into my 92gal with everything else in there... So he has been holding on to them while I have been waiting to get the 600gal up and running... He has been a big help...

As for the current corals they will have ALOT of room to grow :) So at first they will prob look a little small, but I am hoping in a little time everything will fill in quite nicely...

TANK HAS SHIPPED !!!

TANK HAS SHIPPED !!!

Well I got an e-mail from Will stating that the tank has been shipped out today... I will have more info tomorrow as Overnite sent a smaller truck to accommodate the weather by another carrier. So Will is going to call in the morning to get the tracking #. So depending on the movers that I am using to get the tank from the dock into the basement I should have the tank on the stand by the end of this week or first part of next...

Once the tank is on the stand I will be able to make the cut(s) in the wall that I have been delaying to do as I wanted to have the tank here onsite to measure twice and cut once, don't want to mess this part up LOL...

WWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Im excited for you. Keep us posted.

I just need to get mine from garage to house now.

Here are a few pics of the tank, these are the only ones that have been sent to me...

In the first one you can see a big diff in the low iron vs normal float glass...
