Here are the barb fittings that I am going to use to connect ozone to the BK... I got this idea from moonpod, Thanks man :)

On the 150gal ref and 50gal poly Rubbermaid tubs I have a 1.5" sched 80 BH installed and these 90s will be screwed into those... The slip fittings also shown in this pic will have the plactic gutter guard gluded to the top of them and then slip into the 90s to them to keep larger things out of the drains and if they need cleaned then all I have to do it pop them out and clean with out having to unscrew the 90s from the BHs...

Here is another pic of teh slip fitting again along with the gutter guard I will be using... In this pic you can see the 2x 1.5" and 1x 2"... The 2" slip will also have gutter guard gluded to it and then that will fit into the end of the durso drain...

These are the fittings that I will be using to get the water from the Dart (1.5" outlet) back to the tank (3/4" Loc-Lines)... The return will be 1.5" pipe all the way up to the 3/4" BHs on the back of the tank...

I have a panasonic fan on my hood and I am very happy with it. I would recomend them to anyone.

When I was at Mantis's house we were standing in his fish room and I had to ask him if the fan was running, I saw the light on but heard nothing... I believe he has the (FV-20VQ3): 190 cfm model...

Hey Shawn, dont let the setbacks get you down. Afterall, if it were easy, everyone would do it. You have a vision and a dream. Make it happen.

Even better...make it happen with lots of pictures,

Marcus, Thank you for your post, I like to talk with people who have a tank similar to mine, and find what they have had success with and what they would change and so on :)

Do you have any pics of your tank ??

As for the waveboxes, can you tell me more ?? I was thinking about getting one with an extension, but then I was told it might not work in my tank :( Can you tell me the placement of yours and how well you like it and how much of a wave you are getting ??

Do you perform water changes ?? If so how much and how often ??

I know it was not going to be easy, or cheap, I just get sick thinking about the 1k I am prob going to end up spending on the move to get the tank into the basement on the stand :( I mean that extra 700-800 could have gotten me a wavebox with extension, or paid for my plumbing and backup Dart that I still need to get... 800.00 is not a drop in the bucket :( I just hope after the move I don't get any more expensive surprises like this one...

I totally agree. I hate spending money on "non-tangible" things like that. Esp after getting quotes.

Im sure whatever you decide, you will be happy next weekend when it sits on its stand.

I spent most of the day getting my floor ready for my stand.

Paul.

I was thinking about the feed line for the BK400 off of the 2" drain and I was wondering if I really need the ball valve of not ?? I am just using 1" barb fittings that will be connect via a 1" tubing...

What do you think ??

WITH
BK400%20feed%20T-Valve%20with%20ball%20valve.JPG

WITHOUT
BK400%20feed%20T-Valve%20without%20ball%20valve.JPG

What if you want to feed it at a slower pace - is there another way to stop down the feed if you do not have this ball valve?

Can you add the ball valve at a later date without too much hassle?

If you can add it later without too much hassle leave it off for now, if not add it for additional control.

This pic is of the 2" sched 80 BH that I have yet to install on the 150gal Rubbermaid tub that I will be using for the sump as the return for the Seq Dart... I have attached a strainer but after looking at it questioned if it may restrict the flow too much or if it would be OK ??
