7096 Availability?

roger - im interested in the 7096 for my streams - but is it possible to link it to my nano wavebox so that they "work together"?

You would connect the Nano Wavebox to the 3rd or 4th socket and use wavebox mode for those sockets.

I don't have a controller currently, so all of the terms are a bit new. You said it should have 3 modes then mention the shortest interval is 1 minute. Does that mean the shortest duration the pump can be turned up and down is 1 minute? I have seen the 7095 in action before and they were using maybe a 20sec on a 6' tank. I will be using this on a 4' and doing a much longer pulse?

Also, is their any changes in the ETA?

No, the pulse is still as short as 1 sec and as long as 7 sec, interval refers to the time between pumps, pulse is the time between speeds. I have not heard any news on the 7096 so far this year but the factory just reopened Monday and I called in last Friday but did not ask about the 7096.

I cannot make any promises, the developer of the Windows version tried a code converter and the result was slow and crappy so we are back to square one. I am not a programmer so I have to find someone who can do it and who is absolutely reliable and punctual with an end product.

Has the 7096 been released for sale anywhere else in the world yet. Is it just the version for the US that has been held up??
Not bothered about the MAC interface working as I have a windows PC. Have been holding off as want to get the pump and controller at the same time.

1) True four channel programming, you can set each pump individually.

This sounds great. I have a old 7094 controller and wouldn't mind purchasing the new one to get this functionality.

6) Wavebox mode with auto tuning. The auto tuning feature works like the seek button on a car stereo, it starts at .30 seconds and advances .01 second every few seconds and you just hit stop after you see a wave form. You can then fine tune and save the setting. This was the coolest feature and was just added.

Can this be done just with pumps? Or will you have to have the wavebox?

Thanks.

You can do it just with pumps, however the pumps on there own will not be nearly as effective and will likely only really create a wave with two opposed pumps in inverse mode and even then on smaller tanks.

if the availability can be brought forward , it will be great as a lot of us including myself are complating whether to get the 7095 or 7096
