720 Gal SPS tank with Full LED lights - BB

He did say this year he would move Here to states so that is a chore in its self and then move a large tank too. Holy moly.

Amazing growth and color. Further proof LED lighting works just fine.

Not disputing this necessarily, but I believe all of the corals were bought as colonies. I'm not sure there's been an update recently so I'd be interested to see if they held color and grew.

Hello Guys

Here I am again to a little update since i'm short on time last month.

Hope you guys enjoy.

Thanks a lot
Now that's a reef! I just these full length shots.
Why isn't this a TOTM yet?

Hello guys
Sorry for the huge delay. I have been really busy this months.
The reef is ok, sold some colonies, lost some due to a 3 day power outage here. But overall is all fine.
I will pit some pics tomorrow.
Thanks to all for the nice messages

Roberto

I'm happy all is good and can't wait to see how everything is doing under the hydra 52s. Sorry to here you lost some corals to a power outage. What caused the 3 day power outage?

Roberto, how high do you have your Hydra52s off the water? I would love to know what your lighting percentages are at max. I have mine 6 inches off the water.

Wow very nice!! I run mine at 55percent and set to 12k on apex which looks like 14k to me and growth and color are good but my lights are 7" off water.

What spectrum do you use right now and what percentage? I think these lights will grow sps well at a lot of different settings.

Tank looks awesome; very impressive growth. Photos are all significantly blue-pushed though so I suspect it looks somewhat different to the naked eye.

Sorry to resurrect an older thread, but WOW that setup is amazing.
Please share some info on your light settings.

I'm in the process of setting up a 300 gallon reef that I intend to predominately grow sps. The tank is a Marineland Deep Dimension 300 which is 72" side to side, 27" top to bottom, and 36" front to back. To start I have 3 AI Hydra 52 lights controlled by AI Director. I'm struggling a bit to get the Hydra 52's tuned properly for good growth and coloration.

You are achieving fantastic SPS growth and coloration with the Hydra 52 so any information you can share would be greatly appreciated!!
