720 Gal SPS tank with Full LED lights - BB

thanks for your reply Roberto.
It took some time to get the Siporax activated, but since that I have to feed my 2 fishes really hard so that the SPS won´t die. Few frags died because the nutrients are so low ( had it tested by Triton germany ) No3 0,00 and Po4 0,02.
Think I´ll clean my Siporax on upcoming Saturday with the old tank water.

Hi Roberto,

It has been very intriguing to read your build thread and very inspirational. I am in process of building well tank has been order for similar size 2500cmx100cmx62cm and i thought i ask you a few questions if i may.

I see you are using Siporax, does this mean you don't run any iron based phosphate remover? do have a refugium?

Do you dose any bacteria? Do you do any form of carbon dosing to feed your bacteria?

And most importantly the lighting which is the biggest obstacle for any reefer specially big sps tank owners and i see you have accomplished this to perfection.

Therefore can i ask why you have 20 units of Hydra52 where they cover 3ftx3ft supposedly?!! I understand that the Leds are undersold where you do require more unit in order to get the correct spread like T5 or even Lani Led's, but it is interesting that you have this many. I would be very grateful if you can advise me this lighting issue, and i see you even had quite a few Sol's on your previous tank which not many people ready do!

Thank you
Hamed

BEAUTIFUL TANK!!!!!!
I'm going to try the silicon bottom. My question: can you take pic/do you have pic of the bottom silicon up close to see how it's applied/looks?
I have a glass tank, and so I'm wondering how thick i should make the silicon bottom? what' do you think is the best thickness?

Well guys. Over a month without updates so here are some pictures (cell phone as always)

Give up the calcium reactor and back to what I know. Balling method.

Truly amazing! I don't get WOWED very easily, but this tank is WOW! An awesome display of healthy SPS. I don't even see how this tank can get any better. I just nominated you for TOTM. Awesome job, this reef really needs to be documented and listed among other TOTM's.
