Thanks Cap'n. Although I don't understand what you meant by "great aquascaping tim"

LOL who knows, maybe he thinks this is my thread!
I love how you have different areas in your aquascape. The shelfs, caves, and pillars are all great places. If you do want a mixed reef I would try to get the high flow on the open shelfs and get a few low flow areas for the softies and LPS.
How long are going to keep the shrimp in there?
Have you thought about modifying the Koralias and running them on a maxijet timer?

What type of container are you using for RO/DI storage?

Rubbermaid.
Do you aerate the water or have anything in the water to keep it circulating.Originally posted by chatyak
Must be some leftover dust or dirt that I can't see in it.... the ppm went down from 19 to 14 when I added some more water..... it was at 39ppm in the saltwater storage bin... I'm going to dump it out and wipe it with a paper towel than try again... worked nicely on the other bin I had. Although anything under <10ppm is acceptable.

I can't find a description of what it is made out of. It will say on the bottom of the can along with the recycle code.
The reason is that containers that are not LDPE/HDPE grades can leech phosphates back into the water, and jump your TDS.
Is there a particular reason why you're storing saltwater?

How far in between each change would it sit?
I'm not sure how long salt water can be stored... or if there could be issues from storing it for an extended period of time.
I would ask around about it. I know I'm hesitant about my RO/DI water, and only try to store about a week's worth at a time.
