$999.99

I wonder what tweeking I can do to my corals with photoshop in order to sell them at a ridiculously high price.

$1000 per polyp? A deal if you ask me. Considering the growth rate, I'll be buying an island in fiji in 5 years =)

This is nothing new and everyone is aware of Cornbred. It comes down to some will pay for what they must have. I recently bought a single polyp of his Oompa Loompa cause I wanted it for $70 plus shipping. You don't have to buy it, and can always find others that you like for much cheaper. This we all know as well.

Yeah but that has obviously been edited in photoshop or LR. Also I feel like people doing this is price gouging. He didn't make the coral. He just happens to have had the opportunity to buy it from someone who likely pulled it from the ocean. Zoas grow incredibly fast and there is no reason to charge that much IMO.

He gets his hands on some good stuff. Read the reviews and pages of people who say it comes in like pictured. I know cause I just got mine in. Like I said, we don't have to look. But I do feel where you are coming from.

Yeah and I understand where you are coming from as well :). Wouldn't mind having some of that OP you got. But I also think the hobby is best served by spreading around these beautiful species and color variations at reasonable prices so everyone can enjoy them and keep them from being lost rather than attempting to artificially inflate the value in order to make some cash off of a captive animal.

Hahaha, I have quite the aquacultured collection, and my group gets there grubby hands on it before most. The wife and I have many tanks and frag together often. In fact I am frag packed as our local club gets ready for FFM - we have 2 tables this year. I buy a few high end pieces every now and then to grow them out and share. Check the shroom thread and you'll see one of the guys gave me two of his jawbreaker babies- Free. We are all in this for the hot colors and trading.

My last thought is a while ago I bought the Fox Flame for $250. Just a nub mind you, but the colors and growth on this acro are unreal and my favorite piece by far right now.

Theres a sucker born every minute....And someone to take advantage of that sucker every 2 minutes....

At that price, the least they could do is offer 5 polyps to help increase its survival/mortality rate....

A-G??? Really??? And I thought $100-$200 was bad...

Looks like a commonly called "Mohawk" paly that morphed into some nicer colors, likely with high light and very clean water. Not to mention some very special lighting to exagerate the colors that are there.

I wouldnt expect that coral to look like that in my tank w/ my lights and tank conditions for long.

I have seen alot of this person "cornbread" stuff, and his LPS are always incredible and many times worth the $$$....

But this is a zoa ployp, that can/will change under different conditions....Not to mention a single zoa polyp- we all know single zoa polyps have much lower chances of taking hold in a reef than a small group.

Sad to see the hobby going deeper and deeper into greed, $$ and comercialism and less and less into reef growing...

Nice. I'm debating on whether or not to go down to the FFM this year. I'm actually running a bit low on space with ~40 coral species in my 120 haha. It's hard to say no to nicely colored acros though.

Always curious at the cries of Photoshop here. His rating is really good on EBay. And he has a lot of ratings. Honestly if he photoshops as much as accused here, I'd expect a lower rating.
