Yes, there is. But the most part is mixed, with soft and hard corals.

We should bump this thread once a week, just to show for the people that just started in this hobby that you CAN run a VERY sucessfull SPS tank with a DSB. And here it's the living AND thriving proof.
There's NO BB tank here on Reef Central that comes close to this tank(not even close), both in apearence, as well as colors. The colors, harmony, growth..everything in this tank screams life and success. That only proves that what matters is the husbandry behind the tank, the owner efforts... no matter how you run it.
But hey, " DSB's don't have a place in the SPS World" :lol: Riiiiiiight...
Let them think that, ya know, it's too much fun to let it go.

But Bomber never said that DSB's dont work. What he said was DSB's didnt work as advertised. This tank is a great example of what can be accomlished if husbandry is followed. Too many people followed what initially posted about DSB's being maintenance free, and things didnt work out right. Even Shimek has changed what he reccomends in regards to DSB's. There's nothing wrong with DSB's or with BB, ya just hafta know what's required to keep each type of set up healthy.
Now can we get back to enjoying these gorgeous reef pics from Brazil???

Fala espanol, frances y ahora trato portuges. I can understand 90 % of what is being writen but dont know the language that well, Lastima.
Fala de comida organica (viva o muerta) de peixe y de todo otro.
It might even be more confusing if I try to combine my french and spanish to speak portugese to you. I dont mind cause thats how you learn, but I dont want to waste your time.
I want to know how much organic matter (food to corals and fish)goes into your tank on a regular basis.
