The paddle is attached to a modified motorcycle grade motor (I think he is crazy, hahaha), so it is powerful enough to move even a 250 cc bottle. In current design, to meet his need, he put SNOW (5cc), CV (30 drops), and distilled water (44cc) mixed in one bottle, and target dosing every 4 hours for 5 days need.

May I know what website you order your sps frags from in Taiwan?
Postage for express mail service is unbelievable cheap in Taiwan, so sometimes I order even just one frag!:beer:

I live in taipei too and just found your post. The colors are amazing and I bet it's much better in person.
I have a 200 gallon tank with about 5cm of sand. I don't get algae on my sand because I have sea cucumbers taking care of that.
The salt I'm using is Kent and it's giving me good results compare to other salts I have used in the past.

Thanks. My priority is however to keep the coral healthy, sometimes the color come and go...
Thanks. As above.... I found my tank lack of Iron recently, but it bring better color to some of my coral. I will try to understand more what happen.

Sky0409 is also recommended by many other reefers in Taiwan. However, we do have many other online stores and LFS sell excellent corals.
I bought one tiger tail sea cucumber two years back and now become four or maybe five(!?), however, they always accumulate sand in holes I made under rock, this bother me somehow. I may try to find other cucumber and maybe orange spot goby. Thanks for the advice.

How do you test for iron? All my levels are good except PH which is around 7.6. What could be a solution? I have had my sps die over a period of months.

I do not test Iron often, instead, when my green coral turn a bit yellow, I test iron by Red Sea Iron test kit.

The way you are dosing makes sense and I'm impressed at the number of supplements that do not require refrigeration. I don't have as many supplements or dosers as you do but I will try this out on a smaller scale and see how it goes. Thanks again for the idea!

My wife just signed the contract for a new house. This also mean we will move to a new place April or May 2014. For that, I am considering stop adding new coral and live stock on this tank, be more focus on design and plan my new tank (well, if I can convince my wife:headwally
