The new design looks absolutely great!!
Could you tell me what is the small tank sitting next to the display tank for?
Will it be consealed writhin the wall?

Thanks.

It is still a draft idea. I plan set three small tanks next to display tank, but hide in tank cabinet. The larger one is for top water refill, two smaller ones are KH and CaCl solution for my dosing pumps. The whole set may looks like below, but I haven't decided the final outlook. I plan to keep about two inches detach from wall.

Last week one of my friends asked a small frag of red planet, but I can't find a easy way to cut a small frag, so..... lucky him.... I gave him a palm-size red planet :)

My October whole tank photo... In early Oct. I forget I ran out KZ B-Balance, in the meanwhile, I start dosing TM K+/A- solution, it seems SPS color get darker  ... Not sure which factor (no BB or adding TM) cause darker color?

In Taiwan, we love to share frag with friend. The following is what I got recently from friend. Sorry for the living room light and bad photograph quality.

Five star tank. Five star husbandry. Five star colors and growth. I'll vote this a five star thread now. Hats off.

My new toys finally arrived"¦.

Carbon reactor (custom made in Taiwan)"¦
Small enough but high quality (using magnetic to connect glass tube and base set) easy to place anywhere in sum. I hope it can increase my carbon efficiency and extend expired date ;-)

Battery and accessory to avoid power outage"¦. The idea is simple. When power outage happen (unfortunately, power outage over 24 hours may happen in Taiwan), one of my Tunze pump will switch from DC power to battery for over 48 hours before battery dead. Since I place my Tunze pump half inch lower than water level (water level when power off), one pump should create enough wave and air in main tank, especial when I am traveling.

Although I like Taiwan SPS low price and easy frags sharing environment, but due to hot summer and unpredictable power outage, plus my frequent business trips, I better plan well to overcome these challenges ;-(

Let me know if any safe tips or advices you have...

Yes if you are going to experience 24 hours plus outtages then UPS system is a very good option...peace of mind :)
The carbon reactor looks really nice and innovative.
Could you post some more details if you don't mind?
How it's dismantled and how pump attached
Thanks

:) Still long way to go....

Simply stunning acro garden.

Thanks.

Yes you can by cold packs and heat packs and float them in the tank in a zip lock bag.

Thanks. However, I am more concern when anything happen but I am not home to take care.

Get the biggest UPS you can tolerate. Will last much longer than the ecotech. I have one, which my tunze and batt air pump is attached to. So when the UPS dies, the batt air pump will at least keep some flow going.

Also, do you know eros andy?

I used UPS when I was in US, but can't find a good one in Taiwan ;-(

Yes, I was in Andy's house weeks ago with his close friends. He has a better and bigger SPS tank, but in gradually recovery mode now....

Hello can you tell me what the really thick blue stag is to the left of the tank in the center called on post 134?

Yes, it is. It is the only thick stag I got 6 months (or more?) ago, it was gray with very little blue, but now turn to better blue I like. However, it grow much slower than other green stags ;-( You can tell from my month whole tank photo series.

Nice photos. Keep practising with the manual settings. You will eventually figure out the settings.
