A Few of my SPS

Thanks for the kind words and you are right, I should. I will.....

The third from bottom is an interesting coral.. I have a couple similar..
Do you know what it is and do you have a shot of the full colony so I can see its growth structure?

Jason Fox. He didn't have a name for it at the time of purchase. With so many names freely thrown around. I'm debating whether I should named it Stonecold Stunner.

Let me know if you want to see a "front" shots.

Ah you're too kind, Steve. Are you anxious as the days are getting closer to delivery of your new tank?

Nick I can't tell you how anxious I am right now! We have had some delays with construction issues and now we aren't losing until the end of March so everything is pushed back at least 1 month :headwally:

Let's look at the delay on a positive perspective. It will give the builders more time to thoroughly and precisely complete the building process. It will also give you more time to plan your layout. As you can see, nothing goes right in this crazy hobby of ours if we rush. Perhaps, the old saying "the best will come to those who wait" will apply for you.

You definitely know how to spin things"¦lol

woa... did that red dragon grow to that size from that frag just 8 months prior?

"Stonecold stunner".....:spin1:It sounds good... lol
More pic. please....

After further consideration, I don't think that it would be a good idea to label this SPS as such. For those of us that know of the World Wrestling Entertainment, WWE. They had a character by the name of Stone Cold Steve Austin. He was my favorite character; hence, my screen name. His finishing move was called Stone Cold Stunner. Considering that the WWE is a billionaire company, I would hate to received a lawsuit for using their "branding".

I will try to post some new pictures soon.

Do you have a picture of your rock work from the initial set up?
I really would like to see it if you have it.

I'm sorry, but I don't have any pictures of my aquascape w/o the corals mounted. Should I redo it again, I will definitely try to remember to take some and will share.

One of my favorite tanks. Awesome!

Thank you. Your tank is nice! I love the stand and cabinet. Both looks like they are aged treasure chests that you've just pick up from the sea. That new Aussie Frag is HOT!!!

Wow, now thats some color!

Thank you!!

Always a pleasure,seeing your updates nick:beer:
The top down made me feel like i was snorkelling:fish2:

Thank you, Mike. Both of us need to enroll in a Photography class. :-)

This arrangement makes me think of a bonsai garden. were you ever exposed to bonsai gardens?

the rock formations are well thought out as to space needs. well done!

I've never been nor seen a bonsai garden. However, I have killed many. Can't keep them if my life depends on it. It's a challenge that I hope to overcome in the near future.

Yeah but look at this garden in it's infancy. The growth and colonies are great!

Thank you. With patience, caring and time... we will reach our goal.

Upon purchased and research, I've learned that it doesn't need much light; therefore, I mounted in a somewhat shaded/low light area. I noticed it didn't grow from this spot so I moved it and it colonized. Per my experience, once it adapts it grows like weed.
