A few of my SPS

That is just about the prettiest acro i've ever seen mate. I know there's all these crazy multi colored acros doing the rounds now days but the growth pattern and color of that colony just blows me away

Thanks very much, it is also one of my favorites and a center piece in my reef. I would love to let it go crazy to see just how big it will get but need to trim the large branch on the left as it is crowding and blocking the view of a few other cool pieces growing in behind it.

Could you chop it off and glue it down low on the edge of that rock lip at an almost horizontal angle without shading too much...... i think you owe it to all of us to save that branch mate because the bigger it gets the more spectacular it's going to be. ;)
I can see a lot of beautiful acros hiding back there and those recent top downs were beautiful Greg.
How is that SSC frag going that had the strange die back in the middle going now mate ?

I get a lot of frag requests on that one so I was thinking of chopping that branch up.
The main reason I am willing to sacrifice a large branch of the green dragon is to be able to enjoy a view of this bad boy below. Since I grew this current piece from a rescue/insurance frag that was literally a 1/8 inch nub for 3 years I have a pretty sentimental attachment to it.

I think I will do one more Furan dip and that should hopefully resolve the "bacterial infection" assuming that's what it is. I think it may be working because since the first dip some of the corallites I actually thought were dead appear to be coming back with red color tips.

High hopes for this one - essentially the same species as one of my yellow with red polyps acros but in red. Still a long way to go but it's finally starting to get a little color.

There is just something about this sexy beast that does it for me.

Greg! You are the quintessential reefing energizer bunny..
Love it! Great pics as always..
That green dragon.... I'm sooooooo close... Gotta get me some..

Here is the branch I cut off the green dragon today

I did another Furan2 dip on the SSC today so we'll see if it continues to recover.

I am drooling...
Luckily I am alone so my kids don't have to see a grown man cry..

The branch is still with the colony (at least for now) - I stuck it in between some other branches so it's hard to tell anything happened and I can now keep an eye on the corals behind it without climbing up a ladder and viewing top down. :bum:

Greg is a great guy to deal with in relation to selling frags of that disgustingly awesome Dragon acro Matt. I have no idea how much he'd charge for a frag but the $40- he charged me to never let you have any was very reasonable imo

After seeing the acro that was being blocked from your view i can understand why you wanted clear that branch out of the way Greg, the picture of it in your gloved hand looks especially cool.
Pleased to see your SSC is recovering, i would have sworn that patch of corallites was done for mate. I think you might be on the money with some type of infection because i've never seen that type of damage and thought the tips were toast already.
All those pieces in your latest shots are beautifully colored, love the blue stag branches over the sand bed :)

Don't worry Biggles, you have only temporarily blocked me. If I have to go out west myself, I will for a frag of that..
Some of the corals in my old 300 were from Greg and there is no doubt in my mind that some of Greg's coral will take prominence in my new tank as well..

Glad you got the $40 I sent you to guard that coral.

I found it really interesting the way the SSC is recovering. I am keeping my fingers crossed it makes a full comeback.
Thanks for your generous remarks & support.
