Thanks Mike. The side views are my fave since you pretty much just see a bed of sps.
Last count was over 200 individual pieces of sps.

Looks like my SSC has almost recovered - still a ways to go but looking much better.

Really starting to dig this one - starting to show some cool colors

Scored this echinata for $25 bucks at a LFS clearing out their "brown-aporas" about 3 weeks ago - coloring up quite nicely considering it was completely brown when I got it.

I love all those acros Greg, beautiful colors developing on all of them especially that $25- score - nice one mate
That thing is loving your tank considering how well it's doing after only 3 weeks, i'm pretty sure you could drop a brick in there and the bloody thing would sprout polyps and turn blue........... the range of different colors you hold with ease blows me away mate, instead of playing chemistry sets with their tanks i think many SPS keepers on RC would be better to model their systems on yours my friend

Thanks for those kind and very generous remarks Andrew. So you know, I have actually put some brick chunks in my aquarium but they didn't turn blue, they did however turn purple but the only polyps sprouted were on the coral that was attached to the brick so not sure if that counts. :lolspin:

Yeah I like to try new things but also believe if it aint' broke don't fix it.

Greg, awesome pictures and awesome corals. Love the one with the cool colours. From brown to that nice blue in 3 weeks. Wow. It definately ain't broke

Those side view shots are truly amazing! Just awesome!
Thanks, I like the view from the sides because it doesn't show any holes per say and you pretty much see "field" of corals (well I guess you can't really call an 8 foot long patch a field but you know what I mean.)

Already my desktop pic,thanks greg:)

I see that ssc bounced back really nice!
Thanks Mike I'm glad you like it - I feel a bit upside down today so maybe I'll post a few more reflection photos.
I am really happy how things have turned around for that SSC - it has been a long battle but I feel like we're winning.

It's a crazy upside down world ;)
Reflection is blurry due to a fish that made ripples on the top but I still like the shot - a "cornucopia of color" if you will. :hmm6:

This picture is 100% reflection off the surface - kind of interesting :fish1:

The problem I'm having taking the surface reflection shots is in this newest rendition of my reef the rock is lower than before and since most of the corals are still pretty short there is a lot of area between the surface and the corals so the angle needs to be greater to get both up & down in the picture so I am not showing as much reef in the shot as I had hoped.
