A few of my SPS

Post #652, last pic - dang that is one hairy beast!!!

Post #653, 3rd pic - what's this one? Beautifully pale skin.

That sucks you lost those pieces in your prop tank. Oregon Tort would have been a nice addition.
Yeah that mille is insane - I have named it Vari Hari Mille' ;)
The acro in #653 is a crazy morph from one of my original "CM wolverines" - I have a few that all looked the same when I got them and they have all matured differently from each other. I never saw this tabling acro coming from the coral it grew from. I think I can get another Oregon tort but it will be small.
Some very beautiful coral there oldude in great condition.
Thank you!
Greg,
Awesome sequence pics of the SSC, way to hang in there with it, looks like full recovery. All your other corals are looking colorful as usual, very healthy too...
Best Regards,
Thanks Perry, I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I don't know you got the magic touch gonna be hard to achieve such excellence.

Thanks but there's no magic going on here - trust me.

I bought this little clown goby months ago and never saw it again and assumed the worst until the other day I found it nestled into the green dragon colony. :smurf:

It looks like you drowned a rainbow in there Greg, stunning colors mate :)

Oh thank goodness you found that cute little acro annoying fish - i can see damage behind it on my green dragon :hammer:

Time to make a goby ice cube i reckon.............. :p

That was well spotted with the goby.More fantastic colours, love the loripes i have a similar one but its getting outgrown by its neighbours at the mo

Stunning pictures. Polyp extension of some of the acros are very impressive indeed.

How would you rate the growth rate of your Acropora granulosa (?)? I have a frag cut from a wild colony in my tank. It has coloured up really nciely, but its growth rate is a lot smaller compared to my other frags cut from other wild colonies, such as Acropora nasuta and A. gomezi. It seems to be spending most of its energy to encrust the rock to which it is attached instead of producing new branches.

Man this one is beautiful.

Post #685 pic 2 and 3 - what's the name of that swanky piece?

That granulosa is epic. I need one in my tank.

Great update, stunning corals as always Greg. After reading your article, I started testing out sponge power. A few weeks prior to that I started dosing color elements and I have to say that I'm happy with the results. As you mentioned, PE seems better.

I finally read your June 2015 TOTM article. It is very thorough and well-written. I learn a lot there. Thanks.

Thanks Andrew - For the minimal damage the goby creates I can live with because he's cute. Well at least for now anyways.

Thanks very much

Thanks, yes there are some acros that get some crazy polyp extension. :bum:
Regarding the granulosa, it was a brown small blob of a frag for close to two years and I was ready to give up on it so put it in the display to do or die and it took off. Now that it has decided to grow branches I would call it a medium fast grower.

Awe inspiring photos :celeb1:
Thanks for that.

Man this one is beautiful.
It is one of my faves - grow baby grow!

These are some nice big colonies.
Thanks there are a few pieces that are getting to be a good size now, thanks for looking.

Beautiful, as always, thanks for the update!
Thanks for checking in Mark

#685 - 2: CM Cherry Soda, 3: Mike's Mille' (finally getting some good color after 2 years)
A piece of that granulosa can likely be arranged in the near future.

Thanks, I'm glad that is working for you. My corals love it but unfortunately so do the majonos - I'm having a hard time keeping up with them now.

Thanks for taking the time to read through that, it's a little on the long side.

Awesome and colorful update buddy:beer:
Thanks for sharing!
Tried really hard to find my favorite coral in there but failed:p
