Gah! I think thats my brain after viewing the pics....Amazing Greg!
I quite like the look of the efflos - they add some extra character to the reefscape.
I especially like these two...WOW:eek1:
Thanks Matt - The granulosa has been coming along nicely for a while now but the other has been a sleeper I grew from a small frag.
Yep. That's why you're the coral master:dance:
I can masterfully kill many sps
They're all beautiful Greg but the two Matt pointed out are extremely awesome
Thanks Andrew - just trying to keep up with you, which is impossible so I have to settle for the odd piece that cooperates.
Stunning Greg, just awesome!

I have to say (having been lurking in your thread) your tank has made a great bounce back! Shows you must know what you're doing

lol
Thanks for "lurking" - not sure I know what I'm doing, I think I just get lucky (& unlucky) sometimes
Hi Greg,
Thanks for sharing your super cool coral photos.
Do you own a quantum sensor? If so, I wonder how much mmol PAR your A. granulosa receives.
Thanks
Bulent
Thanks for checking in - I have no idea what the par is - all I know is I can grow a couple of varieties of sps with my lighting.

That granulosa is directly under a Radion at 100%.
Awesome, Greg!!
Bulent read my mind here!

I really like that pale blue new one...
Beautiful corals as always!!
Thanks Matt - I have high hopes for that pale blue acro. It is starting to color up quite nicely.
So good to see things doing better. Those two Matt pointed out, wow. :inlove:
Thanks Mark - things are getting better all the time.
Greg I've been enjoying your TOTM threads! I have a mostly SPS dominated tank and am considering the Randy two part formula. I've read you use it too. Since I'm in Canada like you I don't have access to his US ingredients. What do you use for calcium, alk and mag? I've seen suggestions for Calcium Chloride flakes (Warwick salt) from Rona, Arm and Hammer baking soda and Sifto Safe Step Natures Mag chloride (Canadian Tire deicer) and Epsom salts. Have you ever had experience with these?
Thanks very much. I only use "food grade" or better chemicals. Please stay away from de-icer. I used Dow calcium chloride & mag flakes several years ago but eventually they caused big problems. I read that they only guarantee a 37% purity and that stuff always left a grey sludge in my dosing tanks. DO NOT USE! I use high quality calcium chloride, magnesium (when desolved they are clear and leave no sediment). I buy my Epsom salts (Magnesium sulphate) at Costco & use Arm & Hammer baking soda.
Woweee!!!
I am in love with this one:
Thanks Sahin, as mentioned that was grown from a small frag I got a few years ago and was a real sleeper until recently. I had even kept in my 130 gal tank in the fish room because it appeared to be a non-performer but it eventually started showing potential so I recently moved it into the main display.
Definitely NOT an led tank here...
What lights are you running?
Thanks the tank is mainly 250 watt MH but is a mix of T5 & LED as well.
