that wall that this tank sits in just screams 180-220 gal tank, this Oceanic 72 gal bowfront " Tec Series' tank will be up for sale soon ,,,,Tank,Canopy/stand ,20 gal long sump , and overflow w\ hoses for a bigger tank right on that wall. Right below this wall is a empty basement too. I already have the OK to set up the sump and equipment in the basement this winter ,,,look out

lol,,,yea you have told me that a few hundred times !!!!
As you know Wayne , this 72 Gal is a good stable set up , my G2 kills in this tank , and the 4 VHO 110 watts bulbs do a great job of lighting it up. it is a nice set up for sure , these Oceanic tanks sell for a grand or so new. all someone would need is a skimmer, pump , lights ,,,and its ready to roll ,,,,

Ah so much fun setting up new tanks... I keep trying to add them to each room, but keep getting shot down, I can however set up two cubes in the basement, looking forward to that :c).

What camera do you take tank shots with? It looks so purple, depending on your camera I could give you a quick setting or two to adjust and take more natural looking pics. just fyi, no need to reply, Looks good tho, have fun with the basement sump, I want to redo mine just for the fun of it :c).

Very Nice... Here are your pics ;)

Could you tripod it and take the shot at 9pm with no inroom lights on and set the exposure to gather and kill the flash on the full tank stuff? And frame in the shutter view of the tank and lose the stand? If shot 4 is an indication of a full tank shot without all of the highly reflective surfaces and the bouncing light from the behind camera windows I bet you'll get more detail and ahh factor from the wide shot. Just a suggestion.

Shot 4 is nice BTW. Looks good.

camera man i am not ,,we just have a Kodak digital SRL
Cleveyank shot # 4 i just put the camera right up to the glass and shot it ,,, i will have to mess with it later to figure it out

its stainless steel covering over a black PVC plastic canopy (very light canopy) one hand light , and stainless covered wood base ,,, you can look them up its Oceanic Tech Series tank, stand, canopy. stays real nice and clean too.
My VHO fixture fits right under the canopy perfect , its a nice set up but its time to move up in the gallon dept .

not sure Pito if you can but it or not ,,,you can buy this one though !!!! let me know if your interested

I'll have to pass, but it is nice and good luck selling it. I'm in the middle of building a stand for a 55. I'm painting it a high gloss black (like the finish of a piano), and I'm thinking this stuff would look nice to cut and use as trim.

Just curious, how long you've had this set up? No probs with rusting/pitting? Do you have to wipe it down with some sort of protective stuff every week?

no rust or pitting at all , over a year up and running . and i do use a polish on it once in a blue moon , not often at all ,,,,
