Exactly, probably like the second one. Crippled from the neck up and hurting from the neck down.
Just milking the rest of the week out to the holiday now. Its a race to the finish line. Gotta mow the lawn and clean the grill, do my H20 change and Im callin this week done.
Just put in a $400 order of dry goods. Dont know what hurts more my head or my @ss. WHy do they gotta charge so much for this crap its a 100% mark up gotta be.
Whoever owns the rights to DT's is a millionaire. Im gonna grind up some squid into juice and start selling that. Call it "Squid-a-licious" . Then Im gonna charge an xtra $24.95 for "special handling" and clean up.. 2 Years Ill own Costa Rica lol..
I mean C'mon whats the gig with this stuff. Salt $45 for the big can. Its frickin SaLT. Its almost in every single thing thats lives and breaths. Im gonna burst an artery here. Im half tempted to start getting NSW from the coast and haul it home in a super tanker just to get of the grid with this stuff. If it wasnt for the polution I might do just that. Be a good excuse to get that boat I been wanting.

God only knows what I did last night. So far the fall out hasnt yielded any needs for explainations.

Dt's is a rip. I dont buy it but I cant see how they get away with selling it for so much. Its a pencil holder on my desk now so I wont be buying that little bottle of junk any more eithier.

Sorry about the Goni... RIP If I had to guess how many of the items for sale (even by big name vendors) was total useless crap (or even harmful) I say 60% or higher. I used it use lost of stuff until I adopted a more natural method and simply fed well but not often and changed lots of water very frequently. I haven't dosed a thing in my tank since March yet the growth of my corals has picked up expecially the LPS stuff. I added a couple of my MJ mods to increase flow and feed Nori once weekly (1/3 sheet), cyclops every other day (healthy pinch the fish clean-up in under 2 min., and a meaty treat from time to time. I spot feed a little bubble I fragged in March from mama and my big green funghia.
Ahh the Goni? Serves me right on that. I had to have it. Somethings are just better left out of the home tank. Then again some people keep them well so I guess its live and learn. I fried mine with the MH and it never recovered. I tried it high and low fast flow low flow. Treated it like a baby and nothing helped it. I either got one with a parasite or I inadvertantly killed it. Theres no telling really. I hand fed it Liquid life every other day and still didnt recover. So No more Goni's for this guy. Im hooked on Zoes for the time being. Some cool colors out there. I think evey tank is differnt what works for you might not work for me. You skim differnt flow rates lights everything is variable.
Its like a gamble if a product is worthy. Ill try cheaper stuff before I pop for something high dollar. Cyclop-eez is good stuff though I buy that regularly. Just bought some as a matter of fact. No complaints everything eats it. Tank goes into a frenzy when I put that stuff in. So ask yourself whats the point getting it in a bottle when freeze dried is 10x's cheaper with no specail handling charges tacked on?

Well guys the tank sold today. A guy from Astrabula came with his family and bought it.... he picks it up when I move in August.
LOl He said Astrabula. Which is Ebonics for Astatula which is right near where I work lol.
At least he dont have to haul that Mother 2000 + miles.

I've started at 6AM for 20 years. My body kicks me out of bed at 5:15 no matter what day it is!
Ya, pull in and park open the door, turn on the lights, walk down the hall and check the fax, walk to the kitchen and make coffee. Go back to my office and check my e-mial. Like a zombie!

Yea I couldn't be happier. But then i wake up this morning to find my 12 inch birdsnest colony about halfway dead. RTN I'm guessing, what the heck, nothing else looks bad, and I've had it for 7 months now and its been growing like mad.

I literally got that crap everywhere. Its the weed of Corals. Now some nutrient It liked must be depleted cuz its shrunk up and barely twitching let alone pulsing. Not like it at all. Ive done nothing new same ole same ole. Oh well I was getting tired of it taking up so much rock anyhow.

I only work 4 days a week at my reg. job then I work at home the rest of the week doing contract work which is getting old. Im taking this holiday to do nothing. Veg. in my easy chair. Well I should admit I cant just start off doing nothing I have work to finish before I can do that lol. Its all BS. Preparing for the "Big Tank". My attic is 132 degrees, but I gotta get up there for a couple of hours and chase wire for some outlets. So this maybe my last post.
I might pass out and die up there and if that happens the stink wont hit the ole lady til at least next Wed. Nice chatting to ya Just in case.
Im dreading it. I got a hipped roof to boot and Im 6'1 so no matter what Im coming out like I just got a Roman floggin with a cat of nine tails. Its horrible.. Last time I was up there I had to install a power roof vent Thats saws, flashlights and extension chords. Same hot as H@ll wheather. I saw stars. Shed about 7 lbs in water weight and came out bloody. Now this. Im running PVC to the thing so I can do water changes and maintanence from the garage and never drop a drip in the house. Its gonna be brutal.
So you see even when Im not working Im working even harder. Ill be up there in the early a.m. before Satans heat starts to punish me. Never really cools down up there though. Oh well. Gotta get er done. So done it'll be.
All in the name of keeping a slice of ocean in my living room. Its insanity. Somehow it compells me to do it anyway. Guy at work saw me looking at skimmers online says to me "you got a fish tank". I saw an opportunity to talk tank. so I say "yea". He says to me "What is that thing"? I say "a skimmer" it pull out the organics out of the water so you dont get an ammonia spike and your water stays in good shape". Then Hes like "how much is a salt water tank"... blah blah blah..I start breaking down my 180 for him in dollars a month and food and my current set up. I get done. He says "I got a dog it was free" lol... Somehow I was left without neither the energy or the ability to make a educated argument.

If he saw it he'd want one tho! Am I right? You should have lied... tell him it cheap, easy, and instantly rewarding. Then after he buys a buttload of top of the line stuff then promptly sells it all in frustration you can be there to scoop up all the toys for pennies on the dollar. LOL
I know all about the attic horrors! My last trip thru the worllds smallest access panel to the deepest darkest most humid and miserable hole on earth, filled with gianormous spiders, man eating flies, and swarms oof wasps and hornets was a nightmarish expidition to replace the whole house fan motor. I came out looking like a POW out of Cambodia.
My big tank is in the basement/rec room so the potential for remote resources is all but nil. Hell, I figure I was put on this earth to suffer so I'lm trying not to dissapoint the maker! LOL
I don't go into fishtank dynamics witht he layperson. I just tell them they wouldn't understand and should just leave it at that. I can be a pretty painfully honest in an effort to save my breath (my wife can attest to that ) I just tell folks that a reef tank done cheap is about $1 per gallon, a reeftank done well is $2 per.

This is making me mad, I fragged off all the dead tissue and this morning i wake to find 20 percent more receded. I'm going to give this one last attempt. I dont' know what could have caused this the only thing i added to the tank was a huge 12 plus inch monti cap but i don't think that would make a difference
