A Low Country Reef Tank....one more final upgrade

Ah yes, I forgot about the pocket jig.

Love that tool!!!! I used about 200 screws and almost two bottles if glue on this stand. It's not moving. The builder of our house stopped by to check on how we were doing......he said he's going to hide in the stand if there's ever a hurricane or tornado!

Thanks Henry!!!! I have definitely been longing the wonderful aroma of a skimmer cup full of skimmate!!!!

Maybe we should be bottling the skimmate & it's aroma and call it "Organic Health Spa Cream" (Patent Pending!!) .. Use diligently before every shower !!!
Glad mine is in a closet and now there is an exhaust fan in that closet for humidity & temp control & a new function I did not think of before :aroma exhaust

Steve,
With my tank crashing and everything dieing I have some skimmate you would find utterly repulsive...lol. Looking forward to this weekend progress!

Sorry to hear about the tank Henry! I know you're making the right changes to it and it will be better!

And the tank is one town away from me......

I finally found someone that will hopefully build my fish room in the garage and thinks he can start next week.

I ordered some strut channel to mount the mh's to the ceiling. I will make it so I can slide them front to back and then left to right. Each mh will be able to raised and lowered independently from each other.

Hi Steve,
Stand looks great. I wanted to get your thoughts on the flow in my tank. I am considering a Flowwolf but I'm not sure how about a CL.

I have started a build thread on RC (360g) and have posted some pictures.

Thanks Chris! I know someone that will be using the FW on their return lines so you can use it that way as well.

So tank arrives later today and I just finished my light rails.

I'll be able to move the rails front to back and slide each pendant left to right.

The stand and the light rack looks reason good Steve. Your progress is picking up smoothly. Can't wait to see the tank on the stand.

Thanks Wayne. Unfortunately the tank didn't arrive today. There was some kind of mix up with the freight company and I think the truck they sent with the tank didn't have a big enough lift gate on the truck. They will try again tomorrow.

Anticipation is a killer. Man I'm sorry.

Nice Long weekend of "tank work" ahead... Hope all is good today Steve with the tank arrival.. Tough waiting and getting a last minute delay. Good Luck. Have a good Weekend to ALL

this hobby is all about patience and anticipation! I bet the driver wasnt looking forward to taking a crate that is 108"x48"x30" off of his trailer. He's probably off today so figured he would just say he couldnt do it and would let someone else have to do it today :lmao:
