Hey Dennis....if I remember correctly that's the Phoenix Rainbow Monti. I got it about a month ago and starting to spread now.

I wish I could get a good FTS but on an 8ft tank and no wide angle lens, it's really hard.

Great shots Steve! The corals are looking great! How's the DT?

Thanks Art!!! Everything in the DT is looking great. I just cant get good pictures of anything in there. I really need to spend a day playing with the camera and learning the settings better. Top downs seem to be the best shots and its hard for me to get good top downs with my light rack. I got a GoPro that I need to play around with and see how that does.

I did end up switching back to ESV salt after trying the Aquaforest Reef Salt for a couple of months.

Top down is best. But if the lens is too long, its hard to get much of the coral in a pic. I have a 100 mm macro and a 50mm. The 50 is much easier to use. I do my color balance in lightroom. Move the color temp slider to 20000 and it looks great.

I'm still with the Aquaforest probiotic reefsalt. I really like it. I'm also dosing the NP Pro and Pro Bio S.

How's the tank coming along steve?

Corey

Hey Corey...tank has been coasting with usual ups and downs. Ive been really busy with kids and work that I havent had much time to focus on the tank. I hope to post some pictures and a full update soon.

Do you still have all the anthias in the tank? How many is it and what kind(s) are they?

Corey

although I did lose a significant amount of fish recently due to ich, I still have about 12 anthias in the tank. I currently have Bimaculatus, Bartlett, Lyretail, Tri-color and Creole anthias in the tank. I love anthias and if I was doing my livestock over again....I would do an all anthias tank.

How often are you feeding them? Did you quarantine them first? I love abroad but every time I get a few they eventually die off

I usually feed the tank 2 times a day....once with some pellets and then frozen. I always try to get larger ones as I have found the smaller ones are pickier eaters and too timid to fight for food with the other fish in the tank resulting in a poor survival rate.
