Wow! These guys are tough to photograph. I actually took over 500 pictures to get these very few terrible pictures. They're very shy. Anyhow i've had this pair about a year... they're in a 125 gallon tank.

Wow beautiful, what temperature are you keeping them at i heard that they like cooler waters, would that mean you wouldnt be able to have any corals, just a clownfish only tank for them?

They're being kept at 72F. There are a few corals in the tank, but not many and they seem to be fine. there are two tanks on this system, both 125s, plumbed together. the other tank houses A. latezonatus.

I have to admit, I've usually found mccullochi to be very unattractive fish, but those are the nicest I've seen. That third pic has a skeletor face :)

Corals (generally speaking) do well at cooler temps. It's fish that suffer.

Good luck with them Ralph!

Are you sure on that? If thats the case why do we keep our tanks at 76-80 degrees?

I make no explanation to why others do what they do. I keep my reefs at about 78-82F. I keep my latz at around 75F because they are a sub-tropical species and I quarrantine them at even lower temps.

Wow those are very nice, waiting on the DD for them to release the ones they are breeding, but will see how much the price tag will be on them.
