Not a problem. Just to be sure, do you want it just as it appears above, with Liana in front of it, or with a capital T? I could do the UpPeR cAsE lOwEr CaSe thing too, if you like ;)

chris i have been so busy its not even funny.
im coming for it just gimme some time.

i think im about to split myself from the mouth down and then go up.

if i can heal my frag fully ill be able to get alot more done.

Anyone know the best way to clean out an acrylic tank that someone laced with paint thinner?

i had the tank full and running with about 2 gallons of vinegar. had all the fake corals and what not in there as well and the water was foaming good.

now everything smells like white vinegar but i will be rincing it all and doing what i can.

just need to know if there is anything esle i should do?

this is a 100g acrylic tank.

I'm not a big fan of changing names, so let's do it right the first time. Chances of me granting a second name change to any one person are slim. (makes it tougher to keep track of the trouble makers. Bill (RJ) for instance can never have his name changed, he's branded with it)
Keith, LostMyMindNova is too long, and it would change the layout of any page you post on, very annoying. Your old name is grandfathered in, but I believe the limit for new sign ups (and name changes) is 10 characters.

nice im getting the special treatment now i almost feel special

now answer my question or i will have to do something not so legal

Keith - I think youve got a probelm on your hands with the thinner and acrylic. The thinner most likely actually dissolved the plastic, chemically altering it. Theres no way to clean it as its not that it isnt clean - its different now...

I think Doug hit it on the head, Keith. I would also still expect some sort of residue from the paint thinner actually absorbed into the acrylic, that can leach back out as well. I'm sorry, I don't think that tank is of any value at all.

guess ill have to tell the wifes bosses that the tank is garbage now.

gotta love people who do stuff out of spite.

get fired put paint thinner in the tank killed every fish in the tank. except for 1 maroon that was on its way out
got the maroon in a 35hex with biowheel on the tankand dosing pimafix as it came down with something and the fish seems to be really perking up.

now to try and figure a way to tell them the tank is hosed how bout buying a new tank. maybe i can talk them into a custom glass tank 5ft long

i guess there is nothing else i can really do? vinegar? hell i would even resort to clorox if i knew i could get everything and then run with dechlorinator for a few days to get all traces out.

That's animal cruelty, and it's a REAL CRIME, and it carries with it REAL PUNISHMENT. I strongly urge you to recommend filing a police report, and following through.

would love too but no one knows where the guy is at this point.

i just have no idea what to do with the tank. i mean its more than likely going to kill anything i put in from here out as its acrylic and when emptying the tank everything had a strong thinner aroma.

its frustrating this is the same person who calls my house at 10pm telling me hes at the office and the pumps are all off on the tank and all the fish are dead.

from that point on nothing lived and its still that way

If he was an employee, your employer has his SSN. Finding him is the job of law enforcement, and with a name, a description, and a SSN, their job is pretty easy. It should be reported, and it should be prosecuted.
